The National Alliance of Women in Ministry (NAOWIM) is a non-profit, chartered organization that was establish here in the great city of Memphis, TN. This organization is designed to develop, encourage, and train women for their respective ministries.  The mission of this organization is two-fold, our goal is to create a network of female church leaders (Female Pastors, Ministers, and Women’s Ministry Leaders) who will provide education, training and inspiration for women in every area of ministry.  Our primary mission is to assist women in establishing a Women's Ministry in their respective local church where that is not possible, we invite these women to join local churches in their areas for upcoming conferences, retreats and seminars.   Training individuals for service is one of our greatest responsibilities in the local church.  There is so much to do and so little time to do it – so let’s all be about our Father’s business in making this happen.  This is a non-denominational ministry; the only prerequisite is a personal relationship with Christ. We understand that there are a number of churches without a Women’s Ministry program; many are unable to provide this scale of education and training with the limited resources available at their individual churches. The National Alliance of Women in Ministry was designed to create a network of churches to serve all women in the Memphis and surrounding area.  Our perception of a Women’s ministry is an entire program of educational courses, workshops and conferences designed to equip women for service in ministry.  The call of women into ministry is not limited to preaching and evangelism – for we have an even greater challenge of women equipping other women. That is a task, one that should not be taken lightly or without caution.

The mission of The Alliance is two-fold: to train women for service and provide women in the teaching and preaching ministry the opportunity to share their gift. Our goal is to prepare women for all leadership positions in the local church and to provide a venue for female ministers of the gospel to use their gift of preaching and teaching.  We are planning host of events for 2010, such as retreats, conferences, workshops, Women’s City Wide Revival.

Our Theme is "No Woman Should be Left Behind". We are our sister's keeper; we are only as strong as our weakest link. We hope to make conferences, workshops and retreat affordable and enriching particularly for the time in which we live. God has called each and every one of us to something, now is the time for each one of us to know what that something is. Unlike many other national women's organization, this ministry will be one that is organized by women specifically for women and will be a product of its members. We begin with our Annual Conference, followed by the Retreat and City Wide Revival; next year we are planning the addition of a winter retreat.  Unlike what many have become accustomed to, the retreat will consist of an entire weekend getaway one in the summer and the other in the winter.  The Annual NAOWIM Conference will consist of a host of speakers and a number of individual classes from which you can choose.   There will be special sessions for women desiring to start a women’s ministry in their church and women called to the gospel preaching ministry as well as sessions for women in leadership positions along with so many others.  Stay tune for more information on these as the conference dates approach.   NAWIM is not an organization designed solely for those called to the gospel preaching ministry it is a service to all women in every area of ministry.  Our goal is that “Iron will Sharpen Iron” so that we will glorify our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  The National Alliance of Women in Ministry's goal is to equip all WOMEN FOR SERVICE.
